Tribute of the Talon, abbreviated ToTT, is Elite Team's main flagship company founded by Sayaka Yagami. Currently, they hold the top spot as the leading knowledge engine in several galaxies, containing a staggering compilation of over 1 trillion pieces of data that many consider to be nothing less than "the key to the universe." Aside from their primary search engine, they also produce physical hardcover encyclopedias, handbooks, and offer a downloadable app. All of these facets operate under Talon (or Vrelvel in Draconic), a sub-company of ToTT.

The Significance of its Name

The emphasis on dragons is heavily implied in ToTT's name. Almost everything owned or founded by the Elite Team is represented by a dragon in some way, whether it be their brand logos, communication devices, or security clearances. So what's the big deal? I'm sure you're thinking the Elite Team has some weird dragon fetish, right? 

Well, they don't. The Elite Team just REALLY likes dragons. But the story about ToTT's history goes a lot deeper than that, and it all started when Sayaka met a dragon for the very first time. Through Jack (who sustains a dragon form), she learned the truth about his species. 

Pretty Little Dragons

Dragons are actually remarkably gentle creatures who are easily misunderstood due to their intimidating presence. Media often depicts them as malicious, man-eating monsters who only wish to bring calamity and destruction to the world, but this is a mere distortion. Sure, they can be defensive, but only when threatened or provoked. In fact, they're no different from Earth's koalas. #cutebutdeadly, amirite?

Eventually, as Sayaka began discussing ideas for ToTT, she instantly visualized its concept. Envisioning a dragon logo, dragon-themed elements, and naming the company "Tribute of the Talon," she aimed to pay homage to dragons in their entirety, and naturally, to Jack as well.

Understanding the Mechanics

To put it simply, ToTT relies substantially on the Elite Auto-Archive System (EAAS) to help write, record, and document their content at a reasonable pace.

Content is created using EAAS with the help of several employees, all of whom are cleared by Elite Team members or trusted individuals within the EAAS clearance hierarchy. ToTT publications are then released for free to the public via their mainstream distributor, called Talon, which comes in the form of a search engine and mobile app. Talon also releases various books (encyclopedias, handbooks, and more) for people who prefer hard-covers to digital ones. Fun Facts About Dragons

1. When you earn a dragon's trust, they'll be your loyal protector for life. Dragons also go through a long period of mourning when their owner/caretaker passes. 

2. Dragons are MAJOR cuddle monsters. They often show their affection by cuddling, licking, and nuzzling those they love.

3. Evil dragons DO exist, primarily due to the historical influence of dark wizards. Ensnaring dragons with enchantments was commonplace, compelling them to serve their masters and commit acts of violence. These enchantments were hereditary and consequently passed down to their descendants. Still, over 80% of dragons are innately benign.
